BlueScope Properties Group Breaks Ground on Industrial Park Near Orlando

Groundbreaking for The Park @429 in Ocee, Florida.

BlueScope Properties Group, a national real estate development company, broke ground on two new industrial buildings to be erected as part of The Park @ 429, a Class A industrial business park located in Ocoee, Florida. Representatives from Cite Partners and Ocoee Mayor Rusty Johnson joined members of the BlueScope Properties Group leadership team during the ceremony.

“Today’s groundbreaking is a milestone for our company as it marks our expansion into the Southeastern region of the United States,” said Scott Alexander, president, BlueScope Properties Group. “We’re eager to begin construction and excited to explore new development opportunities in the Orlando market.”

These two new properties, Building 200 and Building 300, cover more than 441,000 square feet. Both buildings provide state-of-the-art features, including clear height of 32 feet, dock-high and grade-level loading areas, and ESFR sprinkler systems. Building 200 also includes a 130-foot truck court, while Building 300’s truck court covers 185 feet and provides 88 trailer parking stalls. The Park @ 429 is conveniently located near the Western Beltway (Toll Road 429), Florida’s Turnpike, East-West Expressway (Toll Road 408) and SR 50. This location also provides superior access to downtown Orlando, the Orange County Convention Center and all theme parks.

Given the properties’ prime location and innovative design, they have quickly generated high interest as 62,000 square feet of Building 200 has already been pre-leased. Spaces are still available in this area of high growth, ranging from 20,000 square feet to 245,973 square feet.
