Development is booming in central Florida, specifically in Apopka, a suburb located northwest of Orlando. Attributed to the construction of State Road 429, the population of the area has exploded, along with residential and commercial property development.
Last year, BlueScope Properties Group broke ground in Apopka on the Mid-Florida Logistics Park, a 2.4-million-square-foot industrial park, the largest industrial project of its kind in Central Florida. Recently, Scott Alexander, the president of BlueScope Properties Group, confirmed plans to speculatively build a 246,000-square-foot industrial building on the site, which will be the final structure in the logistics park.
